Transmission Lines Construction Augmentation Support
ETMC provided union multi-craft labor for the performance and maintenance work requested to support TVA's Transmission Engineering and Construction in the following counties by state: Tennessee: Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Carter, Claiborne, Clay, Cocke, Cumberland, Fentress, Grainger, Greene, Hamblen, Hancock, Hawkins, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Knox, Loudon, Overton, Pickett, Putnam, Roane, Scott, Sevier, Sullivan, Unicoi, Union, Washington, and White; Virginia: Lee, Scott, and Washington; Kentucky: Adair, Cumberland, Metcalfe, Monroe, and Whitley.
B&W Y-12 JACK & BORE PROJECT, OAK RIDGE, TN
Jacking and boring installation approximately 160 feet in length and a min. of 5 feet in depth underneath existing, double security fence; Casing installation (earth moving & asphalt repair) – casing welding and installation, backfilling of excavated areas, repaving and cleaning of premise; 15” HDPE N-12 piping; digging/trenching/benching back of the where the new 12” drain pipe will be installed, excavated areas are backfilled and compacted and re-paving and clean-up of construction areas is completed; digging/trenching/benching back of the area where the new 10” storm drain pipe will be installed; and manholes.
4MG RESERVOIR SLOPE STABILIZATION, OAK RIDGE, TN
Provided stabilization of a steep slope located below a 4 million gallon potable water reservoir. ETMC managed the project by procuring design and construction through proposals while designing and constructing permanent soil anchored tieback walls, installing drainage systems, and providing underground water distribution support systems. The reservoir and the water system served the City of Oak Ridge, TN, and the U.S. Department of Energy’s federal defense and research facilities. ETMC provided water plant technical direction, overall project direction, health, safety, and environmental oversight, issued work permits, quality assurance oversight, problem resolution, project scheduling, cost tracking, progress evaluations, and processing of invoices.
